About SimFind by IndoorGolfFinders.com
SimFind is the consumer-facing brand of IndoorGolfFinders.com — a free, independent directory dedicated to helping golfers find the best indoor golf simulator venues anywhere in the US. Whether you're a scratch golfer hunting for a Trackman bay or a group of friends looking for a fun night out at a simulator bar, SimFind helps you find the right venue in your city.
We currently list 2,406+ venues across 46 states and Washington DC. Each listing includes simulator brand, approximate pricing, hours of operation, amenities, bay count where available, food and beverage options, and direct links to directions and booking.
Our Mission
Indoor golf has exploded in the United States over the past decade. What was once limited to serious golfers with expensive home setups has become a mainstream entertainment category — simulator bars, golf lounges, dedicated academies, and hybrid entertainment venues have opened in nearly every major city. Finding them, however, has been unnecessarily difficult.
Our mission is simple: be the most accurate, most complete, and most useful directory for indoor golf in America. We don't sell featured placements, rank venues by who pays us the most, or insert fake listings. Every venue in our directory is a real, operating business that we've verified through public data sources.
Data Methodology
Our venue data is sourced and maintained through a multi-step process:
- Initial sourcing: Venues are discovered through Google Maps, Yelp, direct submissions from operators, and community tips. We cross-reference multiple sources before adding a listing.
- Structured enrichment: Once a venue is identified, we collect hours of operation, address, phone number, website URL, simulator brand (where publicly available), amenity categories, and pricing information from public listings and operator websites.
- Categorization: Venues are tagged by type (dedicated golf facility, simulator bar, entertainment venue, golf academy, hotel amenity, etc.), simulator brand (Trackman, Full Swing, X-Golf, TruGolf E6, SkyTrak, Foresight, and others), and amenities (food, drinks, leagues, private bays, etc.).
- Quality filtering: We exclude permanently closed venues, venues with unverifiable addresses, and locations where a golf simulator is incidental rather than a primary offering.
How Venues Are Verified
Venue verification at scale is a challenge for any directory. We use a combination of automated checks and manual review:
- Address verification: All venue addresses are cross-checked against Google Maps place data to confirm the business exists at the listed address.
- Status checks: We periodically re-check listings to catch permanent closures, relocations, and major changes. Venues that appear closed or unverifiable are flagged and reviewed before removal.
- Operator claims: Venue operators can claim their listing to update hours, correct information, add photos, and flag inaccuracies. Claimed listings are marked accordingly.
- Community feedback: Users can report incorrect information directly on any listing page. Reports are reviewed within 7 days.
Update Frequency
The directory is updated on a rolling basis. New venues are added as they open or are submitted — typically within 1–2 weeks of a verifiable opening. Hours and pricing are reviewed quarterly for active listings, and any changes reported by operators or users are applied within a week of verification.
Our last major data refresh was completed in March 2026 and covered all 46 states in our directory. Venue pages show a "last updated" note when recent changes have been applied.
What We Are Not
SimFind is a directory, not a booking platform. We don't process reservations, take commissions from venues, or have paid placement in search results. Links to venue websites and Google Maps are provided as a convenience — we don't earn referral fees from venue operators for those links.
We are also not affiliated with any simulator manufacturer (Trackman, Full Swing, X-Golf, TruGolf, etc.). Brand tags on listings are informational only, based on what the venue publicly advertises.
Simulator Brand Guide
Not sure what the difference is between a Trackman and a TruGolf E6? Our Simulator Brand Guide covers the major brands, their technology, accuracy, and what type of venue typically uses each system. Understanding the difference helps you pick the right type of venue for your goals — whether that's a serious fitting session or a casual evening with friends.
